Danada House Wedding
A wonderful Danada House Wedding in Wheaton Illinois with Emily and Pranav.
When I arrived at Danada House on wedding day, I knew immediately I was going to enjoy working at this venue. I had not photographed a wedding here before so I arrived an hour and a half early, before the bridal party and any family. This gave me time to scout out a place for a first look and formal photos etc. It was well worth the extra time. I found there were so many places to use. This venue really is a wedding photographers dream. It’s location in a DuPage Forest County Preserve adds to the incredible nature all around the historical buildings.
When Emily and her bridesmaids arrived we spent some time getting photos of them getting ready. Their flower girl was adorable.
How cute are these two photos with everyone attending to her like a royal princess haha.
Every wedding has little traditions and moments that define them. I was in the room when the bridal party gathered around Emily to pray.
I loved how the ring bearer was off to the side trying to pray too, but also looking up to see what was going on at times.
It was too good to not capture despite the sacred nature of the moment. Times like this a silent shutter is so useful.
Danada House Wedding – Outdoor Ceremonies Rock!
I knew Emily and her dad would walk in this gap in the trees on their way in.
I made sure I had my long 70-200 mm lens on my second camera to get a shot as they passed the gap.
I could then spin around and get Pranav in a tight shot as he saw his bride approach. This moment is always a favorite for me.
Outdoor ceremonies really do allow for unrestricted coverage, even when I work alone.
I was determined to get Emily and Pranav back in a gap in the trees when the exited the ceremony.
This was a slightly bigger gap that let me get the whole veil too. I was hopping up and down like a kid in a candy store when I got this shot haha.
It just tied the ceremony together. Walking in with dad and out with a husband.
I could go on and on about the day, the venue and the lovely families, but I will let the photos do the talking.
Here are some favorites photos from this Danada House Wedding in Wheaton Illinois.
