Hidden Vineyard Berrien Springs Wedding
Welcome to Sierra and Ryan’s Hidden Vineyard Berrien Springs Wedding
This was my first wedding at Hidden Vineyard. I was so excited to work here. I arrived early in the day and spent some time capturing the ladies getting ready and some details of the venue.
The original barn at Hidden Vineyard was built in 1870. This makes it one of the oldest farms in the region. It has been meticulously updated and restored. It maintains much of the original charm and structure, while adding some practical modern touches that blend into the rustic feel.
South West Michigan has numerous barn venues.
Each wedding barn has quirks and features that make it unique.
For Hidden Vineyard, one of those wonderful features is their Catalpa tree.
You cannot just build or design a tree for wedding ceremonies. You find a tree and if you are really lucky it’s near your barn haha.
This tree is steps away from the main barn and if I could design a tree, this would probably be as close to perfection as I could get.
I always love to capture faces as the ceremony starts. There is no substitute for the raw, intense emotions.
Some people cry, some smile and some just lock into eye contact so deep it’s impossible to recreate after the moment is gone.
After a wonderful ceremony outside, we spent some time taking bridal party and family photos near the same area.
I always feel the biggest advantage of having a wedding ceremony and reception at one venue is the time it saves.
We were able to watch the sun and sneak out to the vineyard around sunset for a few more photos.
Hidden Vineyard Berrien Springs is well situated for stunning sunsets. This wooden frame the brides father had made was a perfect addition to their sunset photos.
I have no doubt these two are set for many years of joy together.
