Allure On The Lake Wedding Chesterton

Welcome to Ashley and Andrew’s amazing Allure on The Lake wedding in Chesterton Indiana.

When I met them at their engagement session, I knew right away they were going to be a fun couple to work with.

We had an incredible engagement session in Chicago at North Avenue beach on a cold fall evening. North Avenue Beach is always a wonderful venue for engagement photos. The reflections when there are puddles just rock!

 

I arrived for this Allure On The Lake wedding  a few hours early to get photos of the space. A big reason why I no longer do fixed hourly wedding packages is to allow for this extra time before the wedding to really focus in on all the details without couples worrying about me being on the clock and loosing other important photos later in the day.

The tables were already set up when I arrived. That always makes my job of getting details easier.

The florists from Shadow Box Flower Market in Valparaiso had put most of the flowers out already.

Ashley wanted very simple decorations on the tables and the vision was such a good fit for the space.

Each table had a unique set of jars and bottles with a touch of color.

When Ashley and her bridesmaids arrived we did a few quick photos in the amazing bridal room as they got ready.

The Allure On The Lake Wedding Venue is flooded with natural Light!

Ashley and Cody had a sweet first look in the main reception area before taking a few formal photos.

The rustic bar area and huge windows with natural light added to an already photogenic group of people.

Allure On The Lake Wedding Ceremonies Rock!

The ceremony was outside right by the water. It was a warm day but a gentle breeze really helped a lot.

After the ceremony we had a few minutes to capture some family photos and some more photos of Ashley and Cody together.

I knew in advance I wanted a few photos of Ashley on the rope swing, thankfully she had also asked for some.

It’s a great idea since they have the tree for one right there.

During the reception we managed to sneak outside for a few night photos.

 

 

I stayed late into the evening to get enough of the crazy fun dancing.

I actually love the party time at weddings too!
