Wedding Flower Man

Every wedding has a character. Many have a few. This wedding I photographed at The Pavilion at Sandy Pines in DeMotte Indiana was one of those weddings with a few. However one character stood out. The Wedding Flower Man. He was a surprise to all but the bride and groom and made an incredible entrance.

The couple had filled me in what what to come so I made sure I had a fast long zoom lens ready on one camera and a wide lens on the other to get the close up crowd reactions. He walked in throwing flowers with all the zeal of a six year old enjoying tossing petals. But without the shy awkward response when a six year old realizes they are now the centre of attention haha. This guy just rocked.

After tossing a few bunches of flower petals he pulled out beers and handed them out. It was a warm early summer day and I am sure the beers were welcome haha.

The raw fun and emotions make for amazing photos.

I was so excited about the photos I had captured when he got to the front, but he turned around and raced back for an encore! Bonus! More great photos haha. All told I am sure I took over 300 photos of this entrance alone. Add in 25 from my second photographer with a great side view, and it was well covered haha.
