Sand Creek Chesterton Wedding
Geena and Cody had a wonderful fall wedding at Sand Creek Country Club in Chesterton Indiana.
The day started in the bridal suite. There were some details to capture early while the bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done.
I love the mirrors in this room. I always try and capture those special moments when the mother of the bride and perhaps a maid of honor
help a bride with her jewelry. The big mirror made it fun shooting over Geena’s shoulder so I could see faces and smiles and capture them.

The ceremony space at Sand Creek County Club has ample front light pouring in from large windows. This makes photographing entrances really fun with great light. Once up front the light becomes backlight. But that light can make for some fun creative photos. Geena and Cody had a lovely short ceremony and left with some great fist pumps and candid moments captured.
It is always an option to go out on the corse at weddings here.
Sand Creek provides a golf cart, and often we can sneak away for 15 to 20 minutes and get some great photos by the weeping willows.
The sun was still a little high and there were no clouds for a great sunset.
But the color in the sky was starting to change to that blue hour light and the little hill by the weeping willows was a fun
place to make some silhouette photos since we could not wait for sunset. They turned out to be some of my all time favorite photos.

The New York Taxi themed photo booth was so much fun.
