Welcome to my favorite Kemper Lakes Wedding! This is an absolutely stunning venue! After Chris and Kim saw a wedding I had previously photographed here, they contacted me and I was incredibly excited when they reached out to have me photograph their own wedding.
Our day began at Kim’s parents’ home near Kemper Lakes. We had a relaxed start, allowing me ample time to capture stunning detail shots of Kim’s dress, shoes, and rings. As a photographer, I always enjoy the creative process, particularly when there is enough time to fully utilize the surrounding scenery.
Chris and Kim opted to do a first look before their ceremony. I never impose my preferences on a couple, but in cases where the wedding takes place at a single venue with limited time between the ceremony and reception, a first look often proves to be a sensible choice.
The ceremony site at Kemper Lakes is truly enchanting. The presence of willow trees and the surrounding water create a peaceful and dreamy backdrop.
We were blessed with perfect weather, and to top off an already amazing day, we were treated to a breathtaking sunset.

Established 44 years ago in 1979, Kemper Lakes started as an upscale public course. In its early years, Golf Digest ranked Kemper Lakes as one of the 100 Greatest Golf Courses in America. Today, it stands as one of the top private golf clubs in the Chicagoland Area. It offers an incredible backdrop fora wedding.
Kemper Lakes Golf Club can accommodate up to 220 guests for a couple’s wedding day. The outdoor ceremony takes place under the romantic sweeping branches of a weeping willow tree, with a picturesque lake and golf fairway serving as the backdrop. The property offers beautiful locations for wedding photos, showcasing the couple’s beauty and easily accessible. Inside the ballroom, guests are welcomed by high wooden ceilings with skylights that fill the space with natural light. Floor-to-ceiling windows create an open and airy atmosphere. Furthermore, grand sparkling chandeliers complement the elegant tall wood ceilings. Kemper Lakes now also provides additional space for pre-functions and cocktail hours, including a large central bar, a fireplace, comfortable seating, and high tables. It is truly a venue that deserves to be seen!
