County Line Orchard wedding venue in Hobart is definitely one of my favorite venues in the North West Indiana region.

I am not sure how many weddings I have photographed there, but I know in 2016 alone I did six.

I have had a few weddings here every year since at least 2011.

The Bridal Rooms Are Awesome!

If you are having a wedding here, I highly recommend you try and get one of the bridal rooms.

They are round rooms in the central part of the main barn.

Not only does it make getting ready easier on site, but they photograph so well too.

County Line Orchard Wedding Bridal Room

Give your guests a free tractor ride!

If you choose the orchard ceremony site, or the big tree, your guests will get an awesome tractor trailer ride to and from the ceremony.

County Line Orchard has three barn partitions in the main barn. I have worked in all three barn partitions and both inside and outside ceremony sites. I do like the centre barn the most of the three options, but only because it is a bit bigger and I can get lights up high on three sides. Lighting a wedding reception at County Line Orchard takes some experience. If you hire a natural light photographer who avoids or does not know how to use off camera lighting, your reception photos are going to be terrible. I find I need at least two off camera lights and in the main barn four to light the ceremony well. You can see from the reception photos farther down that I have figured out how to balance the light and retain a natural feel to the photos.

All three barns partitions are fairly large and offer ample space for weddings.

I don’t know if I love the big tree or the Orchard ceremony site more.

Either one is a good choice if you are having a County Line Orchard Wedding.

The two end partitions are smaller and can accommodate small to medium size weddings with ease. The centre barn is huge and I’m sure it is one of the largest local venues. The food is always good and the staff run things smoothly. There are great sunsets, large dance area in any of the three barn partitions. The middle barn can fit a live band, (I love live bands) and still have room for an awesome dance floor space.
