Welcome to my top North West Indiana Wedding Venues.

I have been photographing weddings in the Chicago and North West Indiana regions since moving to Munster Indiana in 2006.

That means I have photographed lots of venues, and several of those venues a few times a year, for a long time.

As a wedding photographer who has seen them on wedding day, eaten their food, captured their mood and style in photos I like to think I have a good handle on most venues around “The Region”.

So in no particular order, (to avoid too much bias haha) here are my top venues and a brief intro.

I have even included links to hopefully make your search  for North West Indiana Wedding Venues a little easier.

1. Aberdeen Manor – Valparaiso – Website

A great all year choice for your wedding! I have photographed about 5 weddings a year here for many years. So I have been there in snow, in 95 degree weather, rain and cool fall days too. You have a choice of an incredibly picturesque chapel if the weather is bad, or the lovely garden that really pops in fall. More than once I have been with couples who only made the call to go inside for their ceremony a few hours before the wedding. Twice I have run across to finish a ceremony that started in the garden and ended in the chapel due to rain haha.

Aberdeen Manor has incredible staff. They are some of my favorite people in the industry and they have a consistent staff over the years. I always know an Aberdeen Manor wedding is going to run well.

2. Sand Creek Country Club – Chesterton – Website

Sand Creek Country club offers a lovely all indoor venue space. The ceremony area has a beautiful view of the grounds through huge windows and the recently updated bridal suite is right by the reception hall and steps from the ceremony site. It’s the perfect winter venue.

3. County Line Orchard – Hobart – Website

County Line Orchard is probably the largest barn venue in the region. There are so many options with the main barn available in three separate units. The main central barn space is huge and either end barn space is great for small to medium sized weddings and there are two wonderful outdoor options for the ceremony if you want an outdoor ceremony too.

4. The Allure on the Lake – Chesterton – Website

The Allure on the lake is another venue that offers both indoor and outdoor venues for your wedding ceremony. The huge windows with a view of the little lake make the reception hall really awesome in the early evening. The staff and food are some of the best in the region.

5. The Allure Modern Elegance – LaPorte – Website

Partner venue to The Allure on the Lake, this venue is also exceptionally well run. It offers a unique ceremony area with floods of natural light, contrasted by a dark vintage reception hall with an incredible dance floor. It’s a photographers dream if you hire a pro who knows how to use light as they can totally control the room with the lack of any natural light. With uprights this is one of the prettiest reception spaces you can find.

6. Circa 1856 – LaPorte – Website

7. Four Corners Winery – Valparaiso – Website

8. Centre for the Visual and Performing Arts – Munster – Website
