Naperville is one of my favorite areas to photograph weddings.

I am also the go to photographer for the Du Page Children’s Museum. If you visit the museum you will see my work on banners in the parking lot, on the walls inside and their website is full of my images too.
The rooms at the hotel Indigo are a favorite for Naperville wedding couples. They are spacious, close to the river walk, Elements event space is in the same building, and they are large enough for most bridal parties. I was so excited to work with Krissy V at a recent wedding here. She is the first makeup artist I recommend every time.

There are a few really awesome Naperville wedding venues I work at regularly.
Naper Settlement
Set within historic buildings and exquisitely landscaped grounds, the site offers a unique ambiance. The Century Memorial Chapel, is an incredible historic venue for a wedding ceremony. I have photographed several weddings here and love it.
Centrally located near downtown Naperville’s vibrant dining areas it is a great venue to start at and transition to a larger wedding reception venue.
Matrix Club
As the largest meeting space in Naperville, Matrix Club features state-of-the-art facilities The 15,860 square foot space offers flexibility and luxury, perfect for large weddings. The food here is amazing too. I was recently honored to photograph their event space for their website.
Hotel Indigo – Elements On Water Street
Situated on the north river side of Hotel Indigo, Elements on Water Street occupies the second floor, offering a 4,200 square foot banquet and meeting space that seats up to 250 guests. An additional 3,000 square feet is available, perfect for smaller groups or private dining for up to 80 people, along with a 1,500 square foot pre-function lobby suitable for cocktail events and breaks. I love love love the dance floor at weddings here. The roof has an incredible design that just pops in photos. The close proximity to the riverwalk is perfect for outdoor formal photos without going more than a block or two.
Danada House
Just a short distance from Naperville in Wheaton, IL, Danada House is a venue that marries historical allure with the beauty of nature. Located within the 797-acre Danada Forest Preserve, this venue features a 1939 mansion surrounded by vibrant gardens and a serene atrium, perfect for both intimate and large-scale weddings. I love the outdoor ceremony area and the lighting in the atrium is awesome for wedding receptions.
Danada House has a really lovely outdoor wedding reception area. Outdoor ceremonies photograph really well most often. The ability to move around from an unobtrusive distance getting various angles help get creative photos from diverse angles. In the photo below I enjoyed framing the wedding party with some low hanging trees. It hid the overcast sky a bit, and it also brought the garden theme clearly into focus.
